SALES DIRECTOR

Beyond Talent is delighted to be partnered with a high-premium Company at a time of exciting growth, in the search of a Global Sales Director.

Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Director job will be responsible for implement the 360 sales strategy on a global scale.

The Sales Director role will own the sales function, executing on strategy and enabling/improving the high-performing team across the wholesale and digital fashion accounts. The role has the responsibility for managing existing customers, as well as actively and assertively focusing on new business development. This role is also responsible for a combination of internal and external sales activity, and overview all digital/marketing services revenue for the fashion group.

This high-impact role will work across functions and, interact with clients, vendors, and senior leaders.

This role is the core to the company’s management team and at the center of the cross-functional collaboration between Design, Product, Marketing functions to increase sales and market share in the short and medium run.

Responsibilities of a Sales Director Job

  • Plan the global B2B sales strategy in line with business goals
  • Identifies strategies to achieve the agreed sales targets, also contributing to the definition of the target itself, for the business.
  • Develops the business unit, managing current portfolio of digital fashion as well as wholesale accounts, and at the same time increasing the number of B2B customers, setting sales directives and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to hit revenue targets
  • Managing the Global market, coordinating the own sales team to make sure sales targets are met by maximizing the brand portfolio's business
  • Identify and launch new marketing opportunities that will result in revenue growth both locally and internationally
  • Lead and coach the sales team to instill best practice sales techniques
  • Contributes to the definition of product collections, participating to the identification of critical success factors, working closely with the design, product team
  • Working closely with the marketing team to strength the brand position and awareness.

Skills required for a Sales Director role

  • 5+ year’s experience in Sales, preferably in the premium/luxury industry
  • Product knowledge (RTW or Footwear)
  • Customer Management - strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • B2B Market Knowledge (proven track record of successfully managing network relationship)
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven people leader: ability to manage others and build successful cross-functional partnerships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, full professional proficiency in English
  • Analytical, structured, detail oriented and results driven
  • Team player with positive ‘can do’ attitude
