You will play a critical role in driving the creative direction and product development of the brand's entire ladieswear line. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, this individual will lead a talented team of designers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring the brand's vision to life. This position requires a strong understanding of the luxury fashion market, particularly in the areas of woven, outwear and tailoring fabrics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the creative vision for the ladieswear line in alignment with the brand's overall aesthetic and strategic objectives.
• Lead the design team in conceptualizing and creating innovative and trend-setting collections that resonate with the target market.
• Oversee the entire product development process from concept to production, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of collections.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, integrating findings into design concepts.
• Collaborate closely with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of design initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and development.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners to facilitate the sourcing and production of materials and components.
• Stay updated on industry developments, attending trade shows, fashion events, and networking with industry professionals to stay ahead of trends and innovations.
• Uphold brand standards and values, ensuring that all designs reflect the brand's ethos of luxury, quality, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven track record of success in a senior design role within the luxury fashion industry, with a focus on ladieswear.
• Extensive experience in designing woven, outwear garments, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• In-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Italian are a plus.
