SENIOR COLLECTION MERCHANDISER - LEATHERGOODS

Beyond Talent has been appointed as a recruitment partner by a renowned luxury fashion brand dedicated to delivering high-quality RTW, leathergoods and accessories to sophisticated clientele worldwide, for the search of a Senior Collection Merchandiser specialised in leathergoods.

Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Collection Merchandiser that feels ready for the next step to join the team and lead the leathergoods ladieswear division.

Key experience will include

• Lead and manage a team of two merchandisers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the achievement of department goals and objectives.
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies for the leathergoods ladieswear collection, in line with the brand's overall vision and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the design and product development teams to translate creative concepts into commercially viable product assortments.
• Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to identify opportunities and make informed merchandising decisions.
• Drive the development of seasonal product assortments, ensuring a balanced mix of styles, colors, and price points to meet customer demands and maximize sales potential.
• Work closely with the visual merchandising team to create compelling product presentations and in-store displays that enhance the brand's image and drive sales.
• Manage product lifecycle from concept to delivery, including assortment planning, pricing, inventory management, and markdown strategies.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, ensure timely delivery, and maintain product quality standards.
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments to stay abreast of industry trends and identify areas for differentiation and innovation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Leathergoods merchandising, preferably within the luxury fashion industry, with a focus on bags for women.

- Strong understanding of luxury product bags and a keen eye for quality, craftsmanship, and design aesthetics.

- Proven track record of successfully managing a merchandising team and driving business results.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.

- Creative flair and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative product assortments and merchandising strategies.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with merchandising software and systems.
