Chief Operating Officer

Our client, a well-known premium USA company, is looking for a COO that will have a transformational impact on the business. Working closely with the other senior leaders and reporting to the CEO, you will drive the Company strategic vision, contributing to the management of the business through clear strategic aims, strong operational execution and ensuring profitable delivery against a setting of continued growth and evolution.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the operations of the company. This includes managing daily business activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and improving processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Working closely with the CEO and other executives, playing a critical role in strategic planning.
  • Overseeing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing materials to production, logistics, and distribution.
  • Creating and maintaining a high performance environment to meet the ever-changing needs and demands of the business and driving organisational effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Working with relevant cross-functional department teams and to help ensure the accuracy of budget predictions
  • Working closely with the CFO, oversee operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and monitoring expenditures.
  • Overseeing quality control processes to maintain brand reputation. Ensuring that the products meet the high-quality standards expected.
  • Ensures that the company delivers exceptional service and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
  • Keeping pace with technological advancements, encouraging innovation in various aspects of the business, from production techniques to customer engagement strategies.
  • identifying operational risks and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This includes managing legal issues and maintaining ethical standards.
  • Responsible for implementing and overseeing environmentally and socially responsible practices.
  • Analyzes market trends and competitive landscapes, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, whether through new markets, products, or business models.


Profile

  • MBA, or in related fields like finance, marketing, or international business
  • Strong business acumen is a must. This includes strategic planning, financial management, operations efficiency, and human resources management.
  • Creativity and ability to delegate responsibilities
  • Experience working in or managing international markets.
  • Effective leadership and communication
  • Capable to be innovative, adaptable to changing market trends, and able to embrace new technologies and business models.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, retailers, and designers, is crucial.
