Role Overview

The Head of Design Menswear will be responsible for leading and inspiring the menswear design team to create elegant, high-quality collections that embody the brand’s values and aesthetic. This role requires a deep understanding of contemporary menswear trends, a passion for innovation, and an impeccable eye for detail. As a key creative leader, you will ensure that all designs align with the brand’s luxurious and performance-driven ethos while pushing boundaries in terms of style, materials, and function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team in the development of menswear collections, ensuring the aesthetic vision and overall direction align with the brand’s identity.
• Oversee the entire design process, from concept to final product, ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and luxury. Lead the creation of seasonal collections that resonate with the brand's target audience and market trends.
• Stay ahead of global fashion trends, competitor designs, and technological advancements. Conduct thorough research and leverage insights to inform design decisions and product offerings.
• Work closely with the product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of the designs. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure the design vision is conveyed accurately in campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the menswear category, helping to define the brand’s future creative goals. Assist in forecasting future design needs based on sales performance, market analysis, and consumer insights.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to the highest quality standards, working closely with the production team to guarantee the finished product is of impeccable quality and craftsmanship.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Designer or Head of Design, with a strong background in luxury menswear, particularly in tailoring and outerwear.
• Experience leading creative teams and managing complex design projects for luxury menswear brands.
• A portfolio that demonstrates an exceptional understanding of menswear design, with a focus on innovative and elegant designs.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing and inspiring a design team.
• In-depth knowledge of the menswear market, fashion trends, and an understanding of what drives modern menswear consumers.
• A genuine passion for high-quality materials, garment construction, and meticulous attention to detail.
