We are looking for an experienced and strategic PR & Communications Director to join one of the most globally celebrated brands in contemporary fashion. This maternity cover role offers a rare opportunity to lead the brand’s global PR and communications efforts, working at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and relationship building.
This position will play a key role in shaping the brand’s narrative, driving impactful campaigns, and strengthening relationships with VIPs, influencers, media, and other key stakeholders. In this high-profile role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and Creative Director, supporting their interviews and public appearances, while also serving as the voice for the brand’s sustainability initiatives—a cornerstone of the company’s values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the 2025 PR & communications strategy, aligning it with the brand’s mission, values, and business objectives.
- Ensure consistency and cohesion across all markets, channels, and touchpoints while maintaining the brand’s innovative and inclusive tone of voice.
- Partner with the CEO and Creative Director to prepare and deliver interviews, media appearances, and keynotes.
- Ensure leadership messaging reflects the brand’s vision, ethos, and key priorities in every public-facing opportunity.
- Serve as the voice for the brand’s sustainability efforts, crafting impactful messaging that highlights its commitment to responsible practices.
- Collaborate with CSR and marketing teams to position the brand as an industry leader in sustainable innovation and meaningful change.
- Lead the development of high-impact campaigns for product launches, seasonal collections, and collaborations.
- Integrate PR efforts across digital, print, and experiential platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, refining strategies to drive measurable results.
- Partner with global PR agencies to localize strategies, tailoring them to specific markets and audiences.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling narratives, press materials, and visual assets that reflect the brand’s unique story.
- Identify opportunities to connect the brand with cultural and social conversations, reinforcing its relevance and impact globally.
- Plan and execute high-profile events that resonate with VIPs, influencers, media, and other stakeholders.
- Measure event success to inform future initiatives and continually enhance execution.
- Balance global brand consistency with localized strategies that reflect regional nuances.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine future strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 8–10 years in a senior PR or Communications leadership role, preferably within the luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong understanding of the luxury market, with experience working with high-profile global brands and audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate a clear brand vision.
- Established relationships with global media, influencers, VIPs, and key opinion leaders, particularly in the luxury and fashion industries.
- A results-driven approach with a proven track record of developing and executing effective global PR strategies.
- Passion for sustainability and corporate responsibility, with experience positioning these initiatives as integral to brand identity.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and external PR agencies.
