Product Director – Luxury Fashion, Men’s & Women’s Ready-to-Wear

Beyond Talent is supporting a renowned international luxury fashion house in Paris in the appointment of an experienced Product Director.

This senior leadership role will strengthen the company’s Product organisation during an important phase of strategic transformation. The successful candidate will lead Men’s and Women’s Ready-to-Wear product development across woven, knitwear, jersey and denim, ensuring that the creative vision is translated into innovative, high-quality and commercially relevant collections.

Product Director Responsibilities

• Define and implement the product development strategy for Men’s and Women’s Ready-to-Wear.
• Lead the development of woven, knitwear, jersey and denim categories from initial concept through industrialisation and production handover.
• Partner closely with Creative Direction, Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Production and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure collections are delivered in line with the company’s creative, quality, cost, timing and commercial objectives.
• Oversee key development milestones, including prototypes, fittings, collection reviews and production readiness.
• Identify risks, resolve complex product challenges and improve product development processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary product team.
• Strengthen collaboration, accountability and operational efficiency across the Product organisation.
• Support the implementation of the company’s new strategic direction and long-term international growth.

Product Director Profile

• Significant experience as a Product Director, Ready-to-Wear Director or Product Development Director within a leading luxury fashion house.
• Strong expertise across woven, knitwear, jersey and denim.
• Proven experience managing both Men’s and Women’s Ready-to-Wear collections.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the full product lifecycle, from creative concept and development through industrialisation and production.
• Strong understanding of luxury quality standards, materials, construction and manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex teams and supporting organisational transformation.
• Excellent ability to collaborate with Creative Direction, senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strategic, hands-on and solution-oriented leadership style.
• Strong communication, influencing and decision-making skills.
• Fluent English is essential; French or Italian would be an advantage.
