Country Manager

At Beyond Talent we are collaborating with a worldwide consolidated global brand that is currently searching for an operational and strategic Country Manager, with experience working for the IBERIA market.

As a Country Manager you will be responsible for the business development of IBERIA that include the launch, development, and management of local stores as well as the wholesale, outlets and department stores across the regions, managing a big team of retailers.

Reporting to the Global Sales Director, the country manager role need to be responsible for defining and introduce the right retail strategy make sure the business establishes itself successfully, and to reach sale performance and customer satisfaction across the regions.

We are looking for a leader and a strategic person, someone the team can rely on. As a brand ambassador and country representative, you must educate your teams about the country’s needs, expansion plans, priorities, KPIs and reasons behind the applied strategy.

Responsibilities for the Country Manager role

  • Maximize sales, ensuring profits through a careful management of operating expenses, seamlessly executing all activities to achieve the targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plan while driving incremental sales utilizing cross functional partners
  • Liaising with head office, and writing up quarterly/annual reports
  • Achieve sales objectives and KPI’s while ensuring effective day to day business and operations processes
  • You will be expected to have a strong retail floor presence, to manage, inspire and empower your team managers by building trust, leading by example, and delivering effective training and development
  • Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Maintaining a good image of the organization at all times


Qualifications
required for the Country Manager job

  • Spanish speaker
  • Motivating and inspiring leader, you mentor your team by working closely with them and you set them up for success through succession planning and ensuring internal growth.
  • Relevant extensive experience in managing high-traffic stores and a large team at a specialty retailer
  • Focus on results, thriving on exceeding targets and driving KPI’s
  • Ability to problem-solve, proactive and flexible
  • Proven experience in driving sales and profitability
  • Strong communication skills, in order to establish and coach a high performance team
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing business needs
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a contagious enthusiasm
  • A well presented appearance with passion for retail
